Online Weekend Workshop
September 4 - 6, 2020
Training will be provided on the Zoom Platform.
We often struggle with finding joy, peace, and abundance in our lives, especially when have experienced attachment wounds like loss, rejection, abandonment, betrayal, neglect, and abuse. The negative core beliefs such as not being enough can be embedded into the nervous system leaving life-long suffering. And as a result, our brains work tirelessly to prevent their attachment wounds from being triggered again even if it results in using compulsive behaviors to numb the pain.
This interactive workshop provides tools to rewrite negative messages and develop shame resilience. Participants will be supported in connecting to their core value and truth while using compassionate wound care to heal the wounds and find freedom.

This workshop is going to be VERY interactive. It's not death by PowerPoint for 3 days type of workshop.
In addition to reviewing the model found in the Finding Peace Workbook, there will be new content that you may have never learned before!
This training WILL NOT be something that will be recorded and used later for additional training. There will be no recordings at all.
You will receive a PDF Learning Packet prior to the training. You may want to print it out so that you can write on it during the workshop. We also recommend you get some crayons and snacks.
We will not be dealing with anything that requires advanced technology other than Zoom.
Most importantly, space is limited. Because of the highly interactive nature of the workshop, we want to provide participants with enough time to interact, ask questions, and share their own work.

What will I learn from attending the event?
The weekend uses interactive and experiential learning rather than lecture. During the event, we explore attachment wounds (Loss, Rejection, Abandonment, Neglect, Betrayal, or Abuse), how we developed negative core beliefs that impact our ability to feel joy, happiness, and peace. We explore how shame hijacks our lives. We identify how not feeling enough, powerless, or alone impacts our ability to reach the goals and desires we have in our lives.
Interactive processes include:
Visualizations or “guided imagery”
Inner-child affirmation and healing work
I've Enrolled in the Finding Peace Masterclass - What makes this different?
The Finding Peace Master Class is a self-paced 8-week course that does a deeper dive into the materials found in the Finding Peace Workbook. But the learning is entirely up to you. Sometimes life gets in the way of finishing online courses such as the Masterclass. This Online Weekend Workshop gives participants a chance to asked questions about assignments, get feedback and support from fellow class members, and is LIVE.
We will be covering some material from the Finding Peace Workbook and Masterclass, but we will also be giving you even more tools to Find Peace, some of which you may never have seen before. This program delivers what you need to connect with your core truth – training, guidance, mentoring, and live support.
Will it be a good fit for me?
The Finding Peace methodology is based on decades of scientific research by the world’s smartest relationship scientists in the fields of psychology, attachment theory, neuroscience, and trauma recovery. So, if you are the kind of person who wants to learn techniques, skills, and strategies that are proven and tested then this may be a good fit for you. But it really depends on how much you are willing to apply yourself.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
We have a saying in recovery that says It Works If You Work It, which basically means that if we are willing to invest our time and heart into the activities of recovery, then will see results. But it is important for you to define what you mean by "work for me." Is it a magic solution that will make all your troubles go away... Wouldn't that be amazing?
The Finding Peace Process is all about learning how to find peace, joy, comfort, and love even in the midst of painful experiences. What you get out of the training will be entirely up to you. That being said, if you attend the entire weekend, do all of the activities, and fully participate, and are not 100% satisfied, then let me know and I will refund your money.
Will this be offered again in the future?
Honestly, I don't know. Since this is the first time we have done something like this, I have no idea what will happen. Here's the thing about me, once I decide to do something like this, I put my whole heart into it. I dedicate myself to helping the students get the best experience they can. So, it's not something that I can do on a regular basis. When the time is right, I will offer it again.
