Online Weekend Workshop

Training will be provided on the Zoom Platform.
We often struggle with finding joy, peace, and abundance in our lives, especially when we have experienced attachment wounds like loss, rejection, abandonment, betrayal, neglect, and abuse. The negative core beliefs such as not being enough can be embedded into the nervous system leaving life-long suffering. And as a result, our brains work tirelessly to prevent their attachment wounds from being triggered again even if it results in using compulsive behaviors to numb the pain.
This interactive workshop is based on the Finding Peace Model and provides tools to rewrite negative messages and develop shame resilience. Participants will be supported in connecting to their core value and truth while using compassionate wound care to heal the wounds and find freedom.

This workshop is going to be VERY interactive. It's not death by PowerPoint for 3 days type of workshop.
In addition to reviewing the model found in the Finding Peace Workbook, there will be new content that you may have never learned before!
This training WILL NOT be something that will be recorded and used later for additional training. There will be no recordings at all.
You will receive a PDF Learning Packet prior to the training. You may want to print it out so that you can write on it during the workshop. We also recommend you get some crayons and snacks.
We will not be dealing with anything that requires advanced technology other than Zoom.
Most importantly, space is limited. Because of the highly interactive nature of the workshop, we want to provide participants with enough time to interact, ask questions, and share their own work.

Troy Love, LCSW

Troy received his Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, PA in 2000 and much of his training has focused on addiction recovery. He is trained in EMDR, Trauma-Informed Care, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and certified as a Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner.
Troy has been a guest instructor at Avaiya University, Intherooms.org, The Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health, and other international platforms.
Ambika Devi, MA

As a personal coach, she specializes in igniting intuitive magick and getting creativity flowing. Her pockets are filled with multiple degrees in fields of study including A Master's in Yoga and Meditation, and bachelor’s degrees in Astrology, and Fine Arts.

This is the second retreat I've attended. The first Retreat taught me that my world is safe. Humanity is inherently good. The second Retreat taught me more how to move forward and not let my shame shadows convince me I'm powerless and unimportant. Both retreats have really cemented the idea in my heart that we all need authentic, honest human connection. As we share and are vulnerable with each other, we are able to recognize the shame shadows more easily and fend them off. These two Peace Retreats have been invaluable experiences and I have gained tools to utilize in my own life on a daily basis. Even after two retreats, I am still learning how to apply it and I am finding lasting Joy and Peace despite not having mastered it all. The guidance I received and ability to zero in where I am struggling is amazing.

The activities allowed me to make connections with other participants and feel safe. This allowed me to feel like I could share my struggles without judgment. I also appreciated the continual interactive material and therapeutic tools I learned. This helped me stay present in an online format.
